Dear Providence Ballet Theatre Patrons,
Providence Ballet Theatre is committed to the health and safety of our community. On March 12th, Mayor Jorge Elorza declared a state of emergency in Providence and revoked all entertainment licenses. In response, our upcoming Gala at Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, originally scheduled on Saturday March 14, has been postponed as well as our 10th Anniversary performances scheduled for the following weekend, March 20th and 21st. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide any updates. We hope that you, our friends and family, stay safe and healthy. As always, thank you for your continued love and support of Providence Ballet Theatre. While we work to reschedule these events we hope you stay happy and healthy during these unprecedented times.
The Rhode Island Department of Health has launched a 24-hour hotline for anyone with questions about the Coronavirus, (401) 222-8022. Residents can also call 211 after 4:30 p.m. for assistance.
These uncertain times are extremely challenging for all nonprofit arts organizations working and supporting artists in the field of live performance. If you are unable to attend our rescheduled dates, we hope you will consider donating your ticket back to PBT which is a meaningful way to support us in continuing our mission.
We look forward to seeing you well and healthy. If you have any questions, please contact us at PBT@providenceballet.com.
