Join the Board of Directors

Providence Ballet Theatre (PBT) is seeking dedicated individuals to join its Board of Directors. Terms are 2 years and the board meets quarterly either in person or via zoom.

Led by Artistic Director Eva Marie Pacheco, PBT aims to provide high-quality dance education and professional-caliber performances to all. By choosing to support us in our goals, you are investing in the well-being of your community.

​PBT’s Board of Directors is a committed group of individuals with a passion for the performing arts and a deep commitment to the organization’s future health and growth. They are ambassadors for PBT and dance in the greater community.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Role as a Board of Director

You will directly contribute to the strategic development of the organization in the company’s renewed artistic direction and ensure the sound and sustainable development of the company through good governance practices. Board members play an active role in PBT’s annual fundraising event, with a goal of raising over $10,000 each year for the organization.  

Fundraise

The Board of Directors have a clear responsibility to facilitate PBT’s fundraising goals that will be established during the annual meeting. 

Participate

All members are expected to participate in quarterly meetings, the annual fundraiser and attend PBT performances and events throughout the year.

Be an Ambassador 

Foster the mission of keeping arts alive by advocating, representing and promoting the company and its events. Attendance and exposure are vital to this mission.
