Modern V & up - Ages 12 & up
This class concentrates on body awareness, exploring different levels, traveling movements and positions and increasing the body’s strength and flexibility. The concept of fall and recovery, jumps, turns, improvisation and exploration of different musical rhythms and their dynamics are introduced.
This class concentrates on body awareness, exploring different levels, traveling movements and positions and increasing the body’s strength and flexibility. The concept of fall and recovery, jumps, turns, improvisation and exploration of different musical rhythms and their dynamics are introduced.
Tips for a successful class at home:
- Be aware of your surroundings! Make sure you have enough space around you to fully stretch your arms and legs without hitting any objects.
- Be cautious while dancing on slippery floors (hardwood, tile, carpet, etc). Going barefoot may be a good option if Ballet shoes are too slippery.
- Remember to drink water!
